I really want to show my dad that living in the city is not so bad. I promised to take him to an Italian Restaurant NYC has around to have dinner and just take him around the city. I feel like he might not understand my lifestyle, and that is why he is so worried. There really is nothing to worry about around here. I know what I am doing, and I feel good about myself. I think that I have spent a lot of time trying to build up a life for myself, and I know that it is really something that I want to do. I think that my father is just not use to big cities, but when I show him that there is good food and tons of other restaurants to explore, I know that he will fall in love too. He might even want to visit me more often because of the food.

I love going to Newport Beach when I have a day off. It is about two hours from me, so we don’t go all that often but I still try to fit in at least a couple of trips a month. I enjoy going there and just having a really nice meal with my husband and then doing some shopping. He actually likes it too because while he is not a shopper at heart, he loves a good meal and the best ones are in this area. We are going there next week for his birthday and he has chosen a seafood restaurant because of reviews he has read. We have been to some of the restaurants more than once, but we like to try different places when we go there. I have a feeling this seafood eatery will be one that we go to repeatedly though because of his love for lobster and crab cakes.
